Whilst teaching pole workshops in studios all over the world, Sarah found the same challenges being raised by students and instructors alike:
- Wanting to improve but not enough access to a pole
- Hitting a rut in training
- Wanting pole-specific exercises to work towards their goals

Off The Pole
After years of research and learning for her own training, Sarah wanted to create a place where pole dancers find answers specific to their needs. Off The Pole was born as a community to offer advice, support and to bring together like-minded pole dancers.
Through the OTP website, Pole Dancers can now find online training programs designed to improve their training, high quality clothing and informative blog articles.

My goal is to get stronger to push through to a higher level. Some moves are impossible for me, such as Shoulder Mountain and Iron X. I’m impatient and frustrated I can’t progress that fast, so I push too hard. Keeping injuries at bay is my biggest challenge. I need core & upper body conditioning. Am I strong enough? More than any other person in pole, Sarah is very caring about keeping people safe in their bodies. To all the polers I know, Sarah is leading the way, the head of that movement.
My biggest challenge is injuries, preventing me from competing and teaching. So frustrating! I spend more on treatment than on my mortgage.
